The mission
Create a marketing campaign for a travel guide company showcasing the Napa Valley Wine Train

The solution
To scope the project, I thought of potential customer journeys. The brochure and rack cards were to get customer interest via nearby hotels and sidewalk stands. The mailer was created for previous customers that lived within a 25 mile radius with a special for lunch during the off season. When tourists aren't around during off season getting the other pieces of collateral, the mailer will help fill the gap by marketing to locals in particular. To speak to both locals and tourists, outdoor signage was designed for a heavily pedestrian populated area around town.
I focused on incorporating the scenery and tastes of the Napa Valley Wine Train. Incorporating the colors from the train along with an elegant script and a traditional serif font speaks to the history and elegance of the Wine Train. The experience of the tastes, landscapes, and wines are all so layered. To speak to that, I used layered images with a low opacity background image to visually communicate the layered experience the customer can expect.
